I Sidney Burbridge of Franklin County do make this my will. First, I devise to my beloved wife Susan the following negroes. Betsey Jane Sarah & George Jesse & Charles for her
natural lifetime.  My will and desire is that my entire remaining estate shall be left together and be used and enjoyed by my wife & son John during my wifes lifetime believing
confidently they will never seperate or desire to separate, But as an independency to my wife she shall have annually if she things proper to rise and dispose of the one them of
the proceeds of said estate so long as it remains together and my son John shall have every part of the remainder and such as she does not choose to dispose of My wife shall
have it in her power if she chooses at any moment to have my estate divided and the one third part thereof every kind to be allotted to her during her lifetime, in which event the
one thirds of the proceeds is to cease.  The entire balance of my estate not disposed of to my wife as above I will to my son John to him & his heirs forever.  I wish that no
charge of any kind be made against my friend Jo Clinton by my estate for any debts by me paid for him or any money where loaned or advanced or for keeping his stocks of
for any thinig else for which I might now charge him intending as compensation to him for his services and any demands he might have againes me. I also in addition devise to
my wife for life the children of the woman who to her willed. Inasmuch I appoint my son John the executor of this will with full and complete power to carry into effect the same and
I request that he be permitted to qualify without giving any security as my executor. Signed Sealed this 21st Sept 1842 and published in presence of.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Sidney Burbridge decd was proven by the oath of T F Gano a subscribing witness thereto. And the said Gano further stated on
oath the J F Robinson the other subscribing witness thereto signed his signature in his presence & in the presence of the Testator whereupon it is ordered that the said will be
recorded as the last will & Testament of the said Sidney Burbridge, decd. and the same is truly recorded in my office.
