134 In the name of God Amen. I, Benjamin Sheets of the County of Franklin, State of Kentucky of sound mind & memory, this my last will and testament, hereby making void all other wills previously made. 1st I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Lena (?) Sheets all my real and personal estate, of which I am now in possession, during her natural lifetime. 2nd I give to my beloved grandchildren; Rachel and Polly Moss the same as there father would have been entitled to and each is to have one bed and bedding. 3rd I give unto my beloved sons, Charles, Granville and Samuel Sheets one horse each to be worth fifty dollars, the same as my other sons, John, Benjamin, Martin, and Henry Sheets have received. 4th I give unto my step-sons, Reuben Ford and Alexander Moss one shilling each to be paid by my executor upon my decease. 5th It is my wish that my beloved wife and children pay unto Mr. John J. Crittenden the just sum of thirty eight dollars with interest from the date of this my last will and testament. 6th It is my further wish that, after the death of my beloved wife, all my children except, Reuben Ford and Alexander Moss have an equal share of all that my wife my have in her possession at the term of her death. In testimony whereof I have herewith set my hand and affixed my seal this 30th day of September in the year of our Lord 1830. Ben Sheets
