I, Alexander Quire, of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being of sound mind, but infirm in health do make this my last will and testament in the words
and figures as follow,viz:
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Margaret Ann Quire, the house and land on which I now reside for her use and benefit as long as she should live and at her

death it shall be sold and the proceeds equally divided among my children then alive and the heirs at law of any which may have died.
I wish my executor to pay any just debts which I may owe, also my funeral expenses for which purpose he may sell any personal property which my be necessary

if I have no cash sufficient after all debts are paid.  I give to my beloved wife all of my personal estate of all kinds as the as the charge and appraise of my children
will ___ as hers. I hereby appoint my beloved brother, John J. Quire, my executor to carry into effect this my will and testament here to act without giving security
in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27 of September 1871.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Alexander Quire, deceased was produced in Court and proven by the oath of James G. Hearn a subscribing

witness thereto, who also proved the attestation of Robert W. Scott the other subscribing witness thereto, whereupon it was ordered that said will be recorded, which is
done.
