Anne Hendrick Wilson
Anne
Hendrick, was the daughter of W. J Hendrick, Attorney General from Fleming
County, Kentucky. Mr. Hendrick moved his
family
to Frankfort and purchased the Glen Mary estate in Jett. After an extensive
renovation, the home became a stately
mansion
in
the community. Glen Mary was built in the 1880's by Edward P. Bryan,
an agent for the L & N Railroad.
Anne
Hendrick married Robert Burns Wilson, poet and well known painter, March
4, 1901. The couple had one daughter, Elizabeth.
In
1907, the family moved to Brooklyn, New York. Wilson died there March
31, 1916 and is buried in the Frankfort
Cemetery.
