In the name of God Amen.  I, Anthony Crockett of the County of Franklin and State of kentucky, do make and ordain & establish this writing as and for my last will and testament viz:
Item 1st. I will bequeath & devise unto W. R. Crockett, Samuel B. Crockett, Overton W. Crockett, Granville S. Crockett, Mary Hawkins, Sarah Hawkins, Martha Dillon & Catherine

Buckner, my surviving children and the children and heirs of my deceased son, Fountain P. Crockett and my deceased daughter, Elizabeth McKee all the slaves, which I may own
at my deceased, to be equally divided between them viz: the heirs of my said decd. son and daughter taking the salves which their parents would be entitled to if they were living.
Item 2nd.  I give devise & bequeath unto my son Dandridge S. Crockett all my land which I posses in Franklin County, Kentucky.
Item 3rd.  I give devise and bequeath to my heirs named in the first item of this will all my stock of every description, farm utensils, household and kitchen furniture to be equally

divided between them in the manner pointed out in the 1sr item for the division of the slaves therein devised.
Item 4th.  I do hereby constitute and appoint John McKee and Dandridge S. Crockett, executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me heretofore

made have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 28th day of April AD 1837.

Franklin County Court, December term 1838
A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Anthony Crockett, dec'd was produced in court and proven by the oath of William S. Vaughan a subscribing witness thereto and

was further proven by the oath of said Vaughan that the signature of James Vaughan is in the handwriting of James Vaughan, whereupon the said will is ordered to be recorded, which is
done accordingly.

And on the motion of Dandridge S. Crockett one of the Executors therein named came into Court and undertook the Burthen and Execution thereof and took the oath and entered into bond
with William S. Vaughan and William R. Crockett his securities, in the final Sum of Thirty Thousand dollars Conditioned to law.

State of Kentucky:
I Alexander H. Rennick, Clerk of the Count Court for the County of Franklin do Certify that the foregoing is a true transcript from the records of my Office, and furthermore that John McKee the

other Executor in the last will and testament of Anthony Crockett dec'd has not qualified as such.
And I do further Certify that John McKee Esq. who has subscribed his name to the foregoing certificates, was at the time of doing the same one of the Commonwealth Justices of the Peace,

in and for the County of Franklin, duly commissioned and qualified and to all his acts as such due faith and credit is and ought to be given as well out as in Courts of Justice.
In testimony whereof I have hereto Set my name as Clerk as aforesaid and affixed the Seal of said County this second day of February 1843. and in the 51st year of the Commonwealth.

The affidavit of Peter Jett of Franklin County, State of Kentucky
This affidavit States that he is thirty eight years of age, that Anthony Crockett of Franklin County, State of Kentucky who was a Revolutionary Pensioner, departed this life on the Sixth day of

December in the year One Thousand Eight hundred and thirty eight. This Affidavit further states that Dandridge S. Crockett is the Sole Executor of said Anthony Crockett.

Franklin County The above affidavit of Peter Jett was this day sworn to before me John McKee a Justice of the Peace for said County. Given under my hand this 1st day of February 1843.

The affidavit of Robert B McAfee of the County of Mercer, State of Kentucky:
This affidavit states that he is fifty eight years of age, that he was well acquainted with Anthony Crockett of Franklin County, State of Kentucky, This affidavit states that said Anthony Crockett,

who was a Revolutionary Officer and Pensioner, departed this life on the Sixth day of December as he believes, in the year One thousand eight hundred and thirty eight - This affidavit further
states that Dandridge S. Crockett qualified entered into bond in the Franklin County Court as Executor of said Anthony Crockett - This affidavit further states that the said Dandridge S. Crockett
is the Sole Executor of said Anthony Crockett as he is informed.
Robt B. McAfee

The affidavit of Robert C. McKee of the Town of Frankfort State of Kentucky:
This affidavit states that Anthony Crockett of Franklin County State of Kentucky, who was a Revolutionary Pensioner departed this life on the Sixth day of December in the year One Thousand

Eight hundred and thirty eight, This affidavit further states that, Dandridge S. Crockett qualified entered into bond in the Franklin County Court as Executor of said Anthony Crockett - This affidavit
further states that the Said Dandridge S. Crockett is the Sole Executor of Said Anthony Crockett .
Robert C. McKee

State of Kentucky Franklin County Court
This day Robert B. McAfee and Robert C. McKee personally appeared before me John McKee a Justice of the Peace for said County and made oath that the above affidavit so far as they state

from their own knowledge is true and so far as they have from the information of others they believe to be true.
Given under my hand this first day of February 1843.

Dandridge S. Crockett, the Executor above named who being duly sworn declares that Anthony Crockett the deceased pensioner above named died leaving no widow.
