13 In the name of God amen, I Ann Brown of Franklin County and State of Kentucky, being weak in body, but perfect in mind and memory, knowing it is appointed once to die Doth make and ordain this my last will and testament this 15 day of June in the year of our Lord 1821.
Item.
I lend to my son Daniel E. Brown one negroe owman named Milley and
her increase to his children forever, likewise one yoke of Oxen and the corner
cupboard Item. I give to my grand son John Pew a young Black heifer and calf, likewise a young bay horse called Thomas. Item. It is my will that my negro woman Hanna at my death shall be free. Item. It is my will that all the rest of my property not given shall be equally divided between my two daughters Polly Brown & Obedience Pew.
It is
my will and desire that my son in law George Brown, William Gerard and William
Graham to act as my Execrs this day and date
above Ann Brown X her mark {seal}
Signed
sealed and delivered in NB it is my wish and request that the legatees consent to set old Cale free it's all I can do.
