68 In the name of God amen, I Abraham Bailey of the county of Franklin and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and memory for which I think god and being disposed to dispose of my worldly Estate as it has pleased god to bless me with in manner following to wit
Item
1 it is my will and desire that my just debts and funeral expences
be paid. 2nd that my man slave Godfrey at my death shall be free and that
my executors give him Abraham Bailey {seal}
PS if
the notes of Archibald Bailey is or may be displaced my executors is
to give him a clear receipt against all demands
