Roy Walters

Roy Walters, 80, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at Middletown Regional Hospital.

Born on April 5, 1923, in Estill County, Ky., the son of McClelland and Sudie (Adams) Walters, he had lived in Lebanon since 1962. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the McGraw Construction Co. in Middletown as a master mechanic.

He was a member of the Mason Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 18 in Cincinnati.

Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roy Q. Walters; a brother, Carl Walters; and sisters Eldora Buchanan and Thelma Puckett.

He is survived by his dear loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Geneva (Watson) Walters of Lebanon; a daughter, Donna Walters of Centerville; granddaughter Jennifer Walters; daughter-in-law Nita Walters; nieces Judith Cummings and Joyce Riddle; and nephews Doug Puckett and Tony and Rick Walters; and a host of other relatives and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., with funeral services on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. —all at the Stine & Kilburn Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in the Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville.
