UNION CITY, Ohio -- Brown C. Tuttle, 84 of Union City, Ohio, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on Feb. 18, 1920, in Irvine, Ky., to John N. and Dora (Cook) Tuttle. He was a factory machinist. He was also a W.W. II Army veteran and attended the First Assembly of God, Winchester. Survivors include his wife, Daisy (Miley) Tuttle, Union City, Ohio; a son, Charles Ray Tuttle, New Paris, Ohio; a daughter, Susan Carol Hanson, San Antonio, Texas; a stepson, Rockford Allen Holiday, Richmond; and a stepdaughter, Diane Alice Conklin, Union City, Ohio; two brothers, Glenn Tuttle, Centerville, Paul Tuttle, Irvine, Ky.; a sister, Maggie Schifflet, Dayton, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Russell Dale Tuttle; a brother, Cecil Tuttle; and four sisters, Bertha Fox, Allie Boian, Vinnie B. Rose and Hazel Reed. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. (Ohio time) Friday, Sept. 10, at the First Assembly of God, 991 E. Greenville Pike, Winchester, with Rev. Jeff Bullard officiating. Burial will be at Jericho Cemetery near Winchester. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. (Ohio time) Thursday, Sept. 9, at Fraze-Brooks Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
