Lillian Tussey

Lillian Tussey, age 82, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Friday, April 25, 2003, at VITAS Hospice at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1921, in Irvin, Kentucky, the daughter of Eli and Hulda (Johnson) Harris, being educated in the Kentucky and Hamilton, Ohio public schools graduating from Hamilton High School. She was a member of First St. John United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her devoted daughter-in-law and caregiver, Connie Smith; one son, Craig (Judy) Smith; grandchildren, Angie (Brian) Oswald, Courtney Smith, Lisa Roark, Bryan Smith and William Smith; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Michael Oswald and Heather Roark; nieces and nephews, Charlene (Jim) Smith, Steve (Cathy) Harris, Kathy and Matt; great-niece, Kellee (Bryan) Peters and Chris (Angel) Harris; one great-great-niece, Devon Peters; two great-great-nephews, Connor Peters and Dylan Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, H.
Michael Smith; brothers, Otis “Bert” Harris and Ralph Harris.

Private funeral services were held at Rose Hill Mausoleum Monday, April 28, 2003, with Pastor Rick Witt of Hamilton Church of God officiating, at the convenience of the family. Entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Avenue, Hamilton serving the family.
