Arnell Jeff Richardson

Arnell Jeff Richardson, 70, of Franklin, died Wednesday, July 7, as a result of a heart attack in Rockford, Ill.

He was born in Irvine, Ky. the son of Gentry and Sallie (Davis) Richardson. He had been a resident of the Miamisburg-Franklin area for 52 years. 

He married Shirley McIntosh on July 1, 1960. He retired from Appleton Paper Co. in 1993 with 40 years of service.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Franklin. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and loved University of Kentucky basketball.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughter Carolyn and son-in-law Dr. Karl Hohenboken; and two grandchildren, Sallie and Olivia Hohenboken of Prophetstown, Ill.; a sister, Esther Spicer, of Irvine, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be held at Eaton-Unglesby Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will be at the West Irvine Cemetery in Irvine, Ky.
