Harry Carlton McKinney

On Wednesday, October 1, 2003, Harry Carlton McKinney, 73, departed this world for a better world in heaven.

Harry was born on October 26, 1929, in Irvine, [Estill County], Kentucky to Foster and Sarah (Plowman) McKinney.

On October 28, 1950, Harry married Rosie (Jones) McKinney and to this union, one daughter, Deborah Ann McKinney, was born. He leaves behind his wife, Rosie; his daughter, Deborah; one grandson, Spencer Bright and wife Rae Jean; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Colin and Sarah, to whom he was devoted; several devoted nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Letcher Jones and wife Pat; and loyal friend, Earl Allison of Hamilton. Harry’s parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2003, with Rev. Brian Buriff of Winton Road Church of God, officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
