Susie Mae DOZIER

Susie Mae Dozier, age 85, of Hamilton, passed away in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield, on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 10:13 a.m. She was born in Estill County, Kentucky, on August 19, 1918, the daughter of Bennie and Bertha (Lovins) Babb. On May 4, 1933, in West Irvine, Kentucky, she was married to Hubert Dozier and he preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by two sons, James and his wife Betty Dozier and Carl and her wife Donna Dozier, both of Hamilton; three daughters, Mary and her husband Clayton Cooper of Hamilton, Imogene Wood and JoAnn and her husband Tommy Turner, both of Irvine, Kentucky; three brothers, Charles Babb of Irvine, Kentucky, Arnold Babb and Beverly Babb, both Hamilton; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leo and Delmar Babb; two sisters, Imogene and Viola Babb; by one grandson, Randy Cooper and one great-grandson, Ashton Williams.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Wilson, Associate Pastor of the North Fairfield Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The family requests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, #1069, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
