Sidney Collins
Sidney Collins, 87, of 1125 Walter Ridge Road, Irvine, Ky., passed away
Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at his residence.
He was born in Jackson, Ky., on Jan.13, 1914, the son of Gardner and Bertha
(Manns) Collins.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his first wife, Irene, in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Ina Jean (Hall) Collins of Irvine, Ky.; sons Everett
of Irvine, Chester of Middletown, Kenneth of South Lebanon and David of
Franklin; daughters Wilma Cummings of Cincinnati, Thelma Howard of Franklin,
Wanda Norvell of Lebanon, and Bertha Miller and Dora Roberts, both of Franklin;
20 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren; four stepsons; Randall, Raymond,
Ernie and Eric; and several step-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at
Eaton-Anderson & Unglesby Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, with the
Rev. Kenneth Collins officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery (Franklin,
Oh.). Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
