Leonard E. Bicknell, 90,
of Bicknell Branch Road in Irvine, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bicknell was born March 22, 1910, in Estill county; the son of the late James and Lillie Kindred Bicknell. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Beaver Pond Christian Church in Estill County. Mr. Bicknell is survived by his wife, Addie Mae Richardson Bicknell; seven sons, Everett Darrell Bicknell of Dayton, Ohio, Elmer (Grethel) Bicknell and Gary (Rena) Bicknell, both of Irvine, Kenneth G. (Barbara) Bicknell and Carl (Loraine) Bicknell, Both of Richmond, Earnest Lee (Ilene) Bicknell of Miamisburg, Ohio and Randal Ray (Penny) Bicknell of Somerset; three daughters, Nina Faye Day and Eva Mae Ramsey, both of Richmond, and Joyce (William) Flanery of Berea; one brother Floyd �Tommy� (Vivian) Bicknell of Franklin, Ohio. 11 grandchildren, Terry Day, Robin Bicknell, Peggy Young, Jessica Flanery, Robbie Ramsey, Jennifer Bicknell, Amy Bicknell, Lee Ann Bicknell, Gary Lynn Bicknell, Linda McClellian and Kenna R. Bicknell; 10 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Linville Dunaway officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Kindred Cemetery at Red Lick. Pallbearers will be Terry Day, Robbie Ramsey, Robin Bicknell, Gary Lynn Bicknell, Ralph Coyle and Ronald Renfro. His granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers
