William Wayne Arvin, 72, of 401 Schoolhouse Lane, husband of Alta Dyer Arvin, died at 1:05 a.m. today at Clark Regional Medical Center. A native of Estill County, he was the son of the late Robert and Lillie Mae Sparks Arvin. He was a retired millright from Local 1650, a carpenter and a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.

Additional survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Vickie Lynn and Merrill Bush, Patricia Ann and Wayne Hunter, Carolyn Sue and Ronald Alexander and Sharon Renee Crawford, all of Clark County; six grandchildren, Wayne T. Hunter II, William Patrick Arvin, Jonathan Lee Alexander, Jessica Lynn Alexander, Westyn Michael Crawford and Dustyn Wade Crawford, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Clyde Rowland. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Merrill Bush, Ronald Alexander, Wayne Hunter, Randy Teegarden, Andre' Valdez and Eddie Lane; honorary will be grandchildren. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday.
