Jesse Lewis Woosley was the son of Thomas Woosley and Margaret Parker. He was born ca 1826 Indian Creek, Clark Co. Ky. Jesse died Sept 15, 1882 in Estill Co. Sarah "Sally" Crutchfield was the daughter of Martin and Nancy Railsback Woosley. She was born DEC 9, 1824 in Clark Co. and died DEC 25, 1912 in Estill Co.

Know all men by these present that we JESSE WOOSLEY and Robert H. Schooler are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of fifty pounds to which payment well and truly to be made to said Commonwealth.  We and each of us bind ourselves our heirs jointly and severely firmly by these present sealed and dated this .........day of June 1846.  The condition of the above obligation is such that as there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound  Jesse Woosley and Sarah Crutchfield.  If therefore there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue.
