The Carson Tree (The symbol (&) is to be read "who married") James Carson & Kathleen Harold came from Virginia and settled up above Teddy at an early date, probably around 1800. His son, Robert Carson, married Permelia Tinsley. Their son, Seth Thomas Carson, married Emily Baldock, and to this union were born the following children: Robert Carson & Ida Cundiff (children: Fred & Callie Neal; James & Ina Ashley, and later Opal Land; Permelia & W.J. "Babe" Wells, children: Bobby and Georgianna; Mary & Herbert Richards). Dave, brother to Robert, died at the age of 7. James B., another brother, never married. The daughters of Seth T. and Emily were Permelia & Franklin Pierce Combest; Pina & F.W. Combest, and Katherine & John Cundiff.
