Ezekiel McGlone was born in 1838 and died in 1923. Hannah Erwin McGlone, b. 1846 in Carter Co., Ky., the d/o Thomas Jackson Erwin (1821-1910) and Martha "Patsy" Stamper Erwin (1825-1906). Hannah d. 1924 and was buried beside Ezekiel in the Kiser Family Cemetery, located on Route 2 between Carter City and Olive Hill.
Hannah was a descendant of two original families of Carter Co. She was the grand-daughter of John Leander Erwin (1791-1863) and Elizabeth Dickenson Erwin (1804-1895) the progenitors of the Erwins of Carter Co. And, she was the grand-daughter of John "Pewter John" Stamper (1800-1886) and Sarah "Sallie" Stamper (1799-1874) the progenitors of the Stampers of Carter Co. She was also my gr gr gr Aunt.
