George Washington McDavid, born 9 April 1903 Little Fork near Willard, Carter Co. KY.
He was the son of Henry Harrison and Sarah Ellen Kennedy, McDavid. George married 5 January 1929,
Ada Kitchen. William "Bill" Wilcox, Minister, Carter Co. KY performed this marriage.
Ada Kitchen, born 22 December 1907, Horton Flat, Elliott Co. KY. Daughter of Dalton "Dowd" and Pearl Horton, Kitchen.
Ada died 13 November 1974 Rowan Co. Morehead, KY Daniel Boone Rest Home. She is buried in East Carter Co.
Memory Gardens, Grayson, KY.
George died 7 January 1963, with cancer of bone, in Stovall Hospital;
Grayson, Ky. buried in McDavid Cemetery, Rt. 1496 and 1122 near Willard, KY.
They had the following children:
1. Jeraldine McDavid.
2. Georgia Thomasine McDavid married James Maley, they have one daughter, Diana.
3. Ray Elwood McDavid married Flora Gibson they had one daughter Ramona. Ray was killed during the construction of Interstate 64 at Grayson, KY, 15 May 1968 buried East Carter Co. Memory Gardens, Grayson, KY.
4. Huey Muriel McDavid married Linda Lou Arrington had one daughter, Melinda Ann. Huey was killed on a Boiler Makers Job, Moundsville, W. Va. 8 April 1971 buried in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
5. Ronald Francis McDavid married Glenna Keyes. They have two sons, Christopher and Gerald Ray.
6. Deanna Kay McDavid b. 12 March 1939, Beetle, Ky. Married Robert "Bob" Bowling. They have children: Debbie, Teresa, Bobby, and Crsytal.
7. Pearl Ellen McDavid married Frankie Boggs had one daughter, Rita Kay. Frankie was killed at Ashland Oil Refineries, Catlettsburg, KY 18 April 1961. Buried in Grayson Memorial Cemetery. Pearl married second Gene Crum. They had one son, Ronnie Crum. Pearl and Gene divorced, she married two or three times later but do not have that information.
8. Mary Linn McDavid born and died May 1943. Buried in the McDavid Cemetery.
9. Patrick Earl McDavid married Eveline Lock. Eveline was the daughter of Flowron and Lorraine Sallie, Lock. They had Anthony Earl and Stephanie Shawn. Pat married second Linda O�Brian and they have one child, Landon.
