The following obit appeared in the August 1, 1935 addition of THE CARTER COUNTY HERALD.

Noah Wilburn Withrow, born April 22, 1910, passed to his reward July 29, 1935 at the age of 25 years,
3 months and 7 days, after an illness of short duration. There seemed to develop something in his head.
Physicians studied it and worked with him, but it seemed nothing could be done to bring about relief.
He was at the home of his sister in West Virginia at the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his death a mother, Mrs. Alice Withrow, one sister, Mrs. Bertha Hamm;
two brothers, Clayton and Samuel Withrow, of Olive Hill besides a host of relatives and friends.

His father preceded him in death three years ago.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of his brother in Olive Hill Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Lula Kell, pastor of the Nazarene Church,
after which the remains were laid to rest in the family lot east of the city, in the Jr. O.U.A. M. Cemetery.
