Eileen Wicker Phillips - 1924-2008

Eileen Wicker Phillips, 83, passed away from this Earthly realm into eternal life on Jan. 21, 2008. 
She was born in Carter County on Oct. 26, 1924, the daughter of the late Burice and Bessie Roark Wicker.

She was a retired garment factory worker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pleasant Valley.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Thomas Q. Phillips; 
a brother, Dempsey Wicker; and three sisters, Ireta Jones, Kathleen Kiser and Gayle Wicker.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy Phillips of Grahn, Ky.; four grandchildren, Lerae Wilson of Olive Hill, Panda Sexton of Grayson, 
Shannon Lutz of Grahn and Damon Kiser of Grahn. She also had four great-grandchildren, Devin Benjamin Reynolds of Grayson, 
Michael Seth Stanley of Grayson, Callie Dimitria Stanley of Grayson and Jonathan Zane Kiser of Grahn; 
and four surviving sisters, Billie Sparks of Olive Hill, Janet Boyd of Toledo, Ohio, Geneva Berry of Olive Hill and Toni Shoup of Florida.

Visitation for Mrs. Phillips will be after 6 p.m. today, Jan. 23, 2008, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill. 
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pleasant Valley by Russell Patterson and Gayle Beaman.

Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery.
