Kentucky GenWeb projectMichael Bruce Walker, age 60, of Rush, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at his residence. He was born May 18th, 1947 at Grahn, KY , a son of the late William Arthur and Sarah Belle Lawhorn Walker. He was a construction worker, a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of the Oakland Christian Church and the Olive Hill V.F.W. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Clinton Walker and a sister, Wanda Kaye Walker Stone Nolan. His survivors include: His wife, Jeanette Faye Conley Walker of Rush, KY ; 2 sons, Mitchell Edward Walker of Olive Hill, KY and William Earl Stewart of Rush, KY ; 4 daughters, Martha Jane (Steve) Skaggs of Mt. Sterling, KY, Teresa Arlene Kiser, Beverly Annette (Jimmy) Glover and Karen Faye (Sam) Thurman all of Georgetown, KY ; 2 sisters, Glenda Faye Walker (Danny) McGlone of Carter City, KY and Tina Walker (Jeff) Hogge of Morehead, KY and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 7th, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Oakland Christian Church with Raymond Steagall, minister. Burial will be in the BethelCemetery . Visitation will be held Saturday evening, October 6th, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home and Sunday after 1:00pm at the church.
