Malinda Whitt
1930-2003
Malinda Whitt, 73, of Route 3, Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Mrs. Whitt was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Elliott County and is the daughter of the late William Franklin and Sally Whitt Waddell.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Everett, Alava and Ward Waddell; and one sister, Bethel Skaggs.
Malinda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Clify United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Whitt; two daughters, Evelyn Morgan of Elliott County and Louwanna Harper of Carter County;
two sons, Roy Franklin Whitt and Garry Wendell Whitt, both of Elliott County; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Eldridge Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, with Bro. Jim Bawcaum and Bro.
Eury Barker officiating.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today and anytime after 9 a.m. Saturday and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Whitt Farm Cemetery.
