Sylvia Jerleen Valandingham Jarvis (1925-2007) Sylvia Jerleen Valandingham Jarvis, 82, of Olive Hill, died Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Jarvis was born July 24, 1925, in Carter County, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joyce Ray Jarvis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Globe Funeral Home in Olive Hill. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and any time before service on Monday at the funeral home
