Edsel Towler 1920 - 2004 Edsel Towler, age 83, of Ashland, KY went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 12th, 2004, at his residence. He was born March 21, 1920 at Coalton, KY a son of the late Orville “Jolly” and Ada Woods Towler. He was a retired Pipe fitter, WW II Navy Veteran, member of the D.A.V., Plumber & Steam Fitters Union and a member of the Cannonsburg 1st Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was a son, Michael Wayne Towler; a stepson, John Fisher and 2 brothers, James Towler and Harold Towler. His survivors include: His Wife: Ruth Prichard Towler of Ashland, KY; 1 Daughter: Patti Towler Salyers of Ashland, KY; 1 Stepson: James Fisher of Ashland, KY; 1 Stepdaughter: Jean Fisher McDowell of Ashland, KY; 1 Sister: Blanch Towler McGlone of Ashland, KY; 5 Grandchildren: Debra Towler Rowars of Florida, Judy Kuntz Davis of Denton, KY, Andrew James Kuntz of Ashland, KY, Michael Wayne Prichard of Indiana and Lisa Prichard Reis of Grand Rapids, MI; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Michael “Chase” Rowars, Harrison “Grant” Rowars, Aaron Michael Davis, Jamie Lynn Davis, Trinity Marie Prichard; 10 Step-Grandchildren; 3 Step-Great-Grandchildren and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 6th great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 15th, 2004 at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Stan Williams, minister. Burial will be in the Coalton Community Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, January 14th, after 1:00pm until 9:00pm.
