Gladys Ellen Tackett Binion
1911-2004
Gladys Ellen Tackett Binion, age 92, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, Jan. 13, 2004, in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1911, in Grahn, Ky., a daughter of the late Robert and Lina Carroll Tackett.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Binion; and two daughters, Elizabeth Dorn of Olive Hill, Ky., and Virginia Galindo of Grayson.
Her survivors include two daughters, Dorothy W. Adkins and Roberta G. Parsons, both of Grayson; three sons, William J. Binion, Franklin D. Binion and Robert C. Binion, all of Grayson; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Eury Barker, Lewis Baier, Owen Cox and Homer Bowling, ministers.
Burial will be in Carroll Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
