Anna Darlene Flanery - 1929-2007

Anna Darlene Flanery, 78, of Oldtown, Ky., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 19, 2007, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

She was born Jan. 31, 1929, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Valentine Henry and Hazel Felty Swint.

She was a retired waitress for Greenbo Lake State Resort Park with 27 years of service, was a member of Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church 
and president of the Oldtown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ann Baier and her husband, James, of Oldtown; two brothers, Walter William Swint of Grayson, Ky., 
and Kenneth Ray Swint of Olive Hill, Ky.; three grandsons, James Wayne Baier and his wife, Barbara, of Cookville, Tenn., 
Owen Wade Baier and his wife, Melinda, of Sturgis, Mich., and Jason Allan Baier and his fiancee, Jennifer, of Ashland; 
a granddaughter, Jane Ann Warren and her husband, Willie, of Ayden, N.C.; a great-grandson, Matthew Harrison Baier; and a special friend, Olive Kibby.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2007, at Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Oldtown by Brother John Lybrook. 
Burial will be in Oldtown Cemetery in Oldtown.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, March 21, 2007, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be her many friends and family.
