Gaylord Stevens, 51, 423 Warren Rd., died at his home Saturday. He was born in Carter County, Ky., Sept. 11, 1918, and has lived in Mansfield since 1952. 

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater and was employed by DSL Corp. 

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Whitt Stevens; two sons, Jack E. 1842 Huht Rd. and Gaylord F. 1169 Fairfax Ave.; 
three daughters, Mrs. Abe Swindly of Loudonville, Mrs. George Smith, 1095 Nestor Dr. and Miss Drema K. Stevens at home; 
his mother, Mrs. John Wesley Stevens, Grahn, Ky.; two brothers, Virgil of Grahn, Ky. and Louis of Los Angeles, Calif., 
two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Tackett of Grahn, Ky., and Mrs. Gene Lanthourn, Columbus, O., and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Deal Rd. Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Herman Copley 
and the Rev. Louis Copley. Burial will be in Grahn, Ky. Friends may call at the J. H. Finefrock & Sons Funeral Home today after 2 p.m.
