Alma L. Stevens Carroll, 78, of Olive Hill, died Thursday at her home.     

Mrs. Carroll was born July 7, 1915, in Carter County, a daughter of the late George and Phobe Craig Stevens.     

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.     

Surviving are three daughters, Fay Duncan of Elizabethtown, Merlene Baber of Hampton, Va., and Gail Sargent of Flatwoods; two sons, 
Cliffton Carroll of Franklin Furnace, Ohio and Danny R. Carroll of Olive Hill; two sisters, Eva Binion and Laura Nolen, both of Olive Hill; 
eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.     

Leslie A. Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill is in charge of arrangements, which are pending.
