Kentucky GenWeb projectLucy N. Williams 1922-2004 Lucy N. Williams, 81, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born March 6, 1922, in Grayson, Ky., a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Anna E. Everman Stapleton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Williams; and a daughter, Garnet Mary Stevens. She was a retired supervisor with Cinderella Dress Factory. Surviving are a son, Clayton L. Prichard of Westwood, Ky.; a daughter, Ruth Taylor of Ashland; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Joseph Stapleton of Grayson. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 3, 2004, at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Dr. Tim York. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
