Kentucky GenWeb projectMartha Savage 1920 - 2004 Martha Savage, 83, of Grayson died Thursday in Kings Daughters Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1920 in Lawrence Co. a daughter of the late George and Martha Stevens Sparks. She was a member of the Cherokee Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband George Savage and two sons, Ronnie and Richard Savage. Her other survivors include: 6 sons: George Savage, James Savage and Glen Savage all of Grayson, Douglas Savage of Louisa, Donald Savage of Willard and Phil Savage of Grayson; 4 Daughters: Deloris Baldwin of Paintsville, Janie Savage Saulsbury NC, Betty Lou Jackson of Grayson and Donna Savage of Sandy Hook, KY; 2 Brothers: George Sparks of Webbville and Bert Sparks of Ashland; 1 Sister: Mae Pennington of Webbville; 24 GC and 15 GGC. Funeral services will be Sunday 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the minister David Boggs. Burial will be in the Sparks Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 Saturday at the Malone Funeral Home.
