Vingie Joetta Roe Logan (1934-2007)

Mrs. Vingie Joetta Roe Logan, 72, of Camp Dix, Ky., passed away Wednesday morning, June 6, 2007, at her residence.

Mrs. Logan was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Lewis County, Ky., and was the daughter of the late John Harlan and Julia Bell Gilliam Roe.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Homer F. Logan.

Mrs. Logan was a teacher with the Lewis County School District and retired in 1986. She was the former owner of Camp Dix Wood Products. 
She was an active member of First Christian Church of Olive Hill.

She is survived by a son and companion, Justin B. Logan and Tammy Brown of Camp Dix; a daughter and son-in-law, Joetta and Jack Jarrell of Ashland, Ky.; 
three brothers, Clifford Roe of Radcliff, Ky., Fenton Roe of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Emeral “Whitey” Roe of Tar Fork, Lewis County; 
two sisters, Vivian Hamilton of Bucyrus and Thelma Haney of Carter City, Ky.; three grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, 
Justin Aaron and Amanda Logan of Camp Dix, Julia Dawn and Thomas Ware II of Cynthiana, Ky., and Jeb Austin Jarrell of Ashland; 
two great-granddaughters, Abigail LeShae Logan of Camp Dix and Ariel Fannin of Grayson, Ky.; 
two great-grandsons, Braiden Bellew and Gerrit Bellew, both of Grayson; and a host of family and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Camp Dix 
with Brother Tim Wagoner and Brother Dave Shanklin officiating. Burial will be in Stone Cemetery in Lewis County.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today, June 8, 2007, and until services Saturday at the funeral home.

Larry Logan, Mike Roe, Russell Roe, Bill Logan, Dane Roe, Tony Lewis, John Roe, Troy Logan, Curtis Roe and Jeff Roe will serve as pallbearers.
