Kentucky GenWeb projectThe Ashland Daily Independent Ruby Ellen Miller 7-12-1980 Ruby Ellen Miller 82 of 2116-13th St died in Kings Daughters Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs Miller was born Nov.2,1897 in Carter County, a daughter of the late William J. and Mary Watson Riffe. She had resided in Ashland for 60 years and was a member of the Pollard Baptist Church. Her Husband U.W. Miller died in 1973. Surviving are A daughter Edna Miller Davenport of Ashland and two sons Charles & Walter Miller ,both of Ashland. Ten grandchildren and 19 great-grand children. Services were at Miller Funeral Home by Rev JimShouse,Rev. W.K.Wood and Rev. Jack Edwards. Burial was in Rose Hill Burial Park.
