Ralph Porter Born – 1943 OLIVE HILL – Mr. Ralph Porter, age 63, of Olive Hill, passed away Sunday morning March 4, in the Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Mr. Porter was born September 9,1943 in Carter County, a son of the late Roy and Edna Opal Mabry Porter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Burl Porter, Jackie D. Porter, and Billy Wayne Porter. Ralph was disabled and of the Church of God faith. He is survived by four brothers, Harold Porter of Grahn, Hubert “Duke” Porter and Roy D. Porter both of Olive Hill, and Danny Porter of Grayson; four sisters, Edith Fife, Catherine Bradley, Virginia Swanigan all of Olive Hill, and Ruth Ann Brown of Ashland; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 6, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. Burial followed in the Porter Cemetery at Henderson, KY. Sean Lunsford, Brock Porter, Donald Ray Porter, Jeff Brown, Mark Brown, and Mickey Brown served as Pallbearers.
