Robert Patrick “Pat” Perry - 1939-2007

Mr. Robert Patrick “Pat” Perry, 68, of 385 Blueberry Ridge, Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Thursday morning, July 5, 2007, 
in St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Ky.

Mr. Perry was born May 27, 1939, in Carter County, Ky., the son of the late Ollie and Ottie Underwood Perry.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David A. Perry.

After graduating high school in 1958, Pat opened Perry’s Texaco Station for four years, then started Pat Perry’s Used Cars for 20 years. 
Pat retired as a pipefitter in 1997. After retiring, Pat’s life revolved around his children, grandchildren and friends, and he loved story tellin’. 
He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Olive Hill, where he was very active.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sonja Duncan Perry; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Patrick Jr. and Regina Perry, 
Randy and Kristy Perry and Christopher “Chris” Perry, all of Olive Hill; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Steve Wells of Muncie, Ind.; 
one sister, Helen Francis Bond of Shelby, Ohio; eight grandchildren and one on the way, Matthew Patrick Wells, Aaron Wells, Tyler Patrick Perry, 
Destiny Perry, Jared Hamm, Tylar Setser, Brianna Haynes and Bailey Hanyes; and many other family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Phillip Green, 
Brother Eddie Porter and Brother James Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in Underwood Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, July 7, 2007, until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.

Lloyd Callihan, Lawton “Bub” Gabbard, Joe Sexton, Danny Gilliam, Doug Bond and David Lee will serve as pallbearers.

The “boys down at the office” will serve as honorary pallbearers: Mick Roe, James Cooper, Roger Wilson, Gene Sparks and Zane Wilson. 
Also as honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Burchett, Danny Shumate, Carl “Bud” Stamper, Dan Perry, Bill Perry and Tom McCoy.

In lieu of flowers, make all donations to the Nazarene Building Improvement Fund, Jordan Court, Olive Hill.
