Goldie Pendlum Ash, 90, born July 12, 1909 in Carter Co, KY, 
daughter of the late John Steele and Martha Williams Pendlum, died September 7, 1999 in Vanceburg, Lewis Co, KY.  

Preceded: husband, Delbert Ash in 1982, son, Rival Ash in Feb 1999.  

Survived: sons, Hansel Ash, Hurbert Ash, Mitchell Ash and David Ash, daughter, Martha Savage, sister, Dakota Mead, 
half-brother, John Pendlum, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild.  

Burial: Sept 10, 1999 Lewis County Memory Gardens, Vanceburg, KY.

 VANCEBURG - Mrs. Goldie Pendlum Ash, 90, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.7,1999 in the Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after an 
extended illness. She was the widow of Delbert Ash, who died April 16,1982.Born in Carter County, Ky., on July 12,1909,she was the daughter of the late 
John Steele and Martha Williams Pendlum.

 Surviving are four sons, Hansel and Hubert Ash, both of Tollesboro, and Mitchell and David Ash, both of Mansfield, Ohio; and one daughter, Martha 
Savage of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Dakota Mead of Cincinnati; a half brother, John Pendlum, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, 13 grandchildren, 
17 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Rival Ash, on Feb 5,1999.

 Services are 1 p.m. Saturday the Gaydos Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Morton officiating. Burial will be in the Lewis County Memory Gardens, Vanceburg.
 Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 8 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Goldie Ash, 90

Goldie Pendlum Ash, 90 of Vanceburg (Ky.)  rehabilitation and Health Care Center, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at the care center.

She was born July 12, 1909, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late John Steele and Martha Williams Pendlum.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Ash, on April 16, 1982.  Surviving are four sons, Hansel Ash, and Hubert Ash, both of Tollesboro, Ky., 
and Mitchell Ash and David Ash, both of Mansfield; one daughter, Martha Savage of Dayton; one sister, Dakota Mead of Cincinnati; 
one half-brother, John Pendlum of Wheelesburg; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nephews and nieces.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Rival Ash.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gados Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. Rob Morton officiating 
and interment in Lewis County Memory Gardens.
