Dyer

South Shore, Ky. – Mrs. Eva Jane Parker Dyer, 86, of South Shore Rt. 1, died this morning at Mercy Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio, after a long illness.

A Carter County native, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E., in 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne and Paul, both of South Shore; four daughters, Bernice Dyer, Mrs. Thelma Karcher and Mrs. Inez Martin, 
all of Portsmouth, and Wanda Dyer of South Shore; two brothers, Virgil Parker of Columbus, and Estel Parker of Sciotoville, Ohio; 
a sister Mrs. Ethel Young of Greenup; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are planned at 1 p.m. Friday at Roberson Funeral Home, with Rev. John Dean officiating, and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight, from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and until the hour of services Friday.
