Charlisa Juanita Mullins-Davis (1923-2007)

Charlisa Juanita Mullins-Davis, 83, of Denton, passed from this life to her eternal home with God on June 6, 2007.

She was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Music, Ky., a daughter of the late Charles Grant and Ruby Stanley McWhorter. 
She was a homemaker and a member of Straight Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Mullins, in 1992; her daughter, Lois Gail McCoy, in 1976; 
and two brothers, Bob and Ronald McWhorter.

Her survivors include her husband, Earsel Davis and his family; three daughters and a son-in-law, Carole Sue O’Brien of Denton, 
Patty Carper of Grayson and Shelby and husband Sidney Marshall of Grayson; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and wife Dixie Mullins of Denton; 
three grandsons, Chris Carter and wife Missy, Edwin Sexton and Corey Mullins; three granddaughters, Julie Boggs and husband Kevin, 
Rachel Mullins and Leah Mullins; a great-grandson, Zach Boggs; and a sister, Deledita “Bay” Solly of Seattle.

A special thank you to caregivers Pat Blevins and Faye Lucas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Keith Crum, minister. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
