Anna M. Waggoner 

1919-2004 

Anna M. Waggoner, 84, of Ashland, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 8, 2004, in King's Daughters Medical Center. 

She was born Dec. 4, 1919, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Deward and Ora N. Canafax Moreland. 

She was formerly employed at Armco Steel and was manager at Giovanni's Pizza in Kenova, W.Va. 

She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, GA's, was a founding member of the Peacemakers Quilting Club, 
and was active at the Ashland Senior Center. 

Her passions included quilting, sewing, cooking and a "zeal" for living life. 

She was a loving, devoted wife and mother, survived by her husband of 63 years, William "Walt" Waggoner; two daughters, 
Karen Thaxton and her husband, Mike, of Ashland, and Leigh Waggoner of Ashland; one grandson, Michael Thaxton of Ashland; 
one brother, Eugene Moreland of Olive Hill, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; and many close loving friends. 

Funeral services will be today, March 10, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum by the Rev. Jim Nichols. 
Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum. 

There will be no visitation. 

Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church, 3414 Charles St., Ashland, Ky. 41101.
