 Herman McCleese 

1949-2004 

Herman Michael "Lefty" McCleese, age 55, of Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his residence. 

Mr. McCleese was born February 15, 1949, in New Castle, Ind., a son of Esta Gilliam McCleese of Olive Hill and the late Herman McCleese. 
He was a pipe fitter, Local 798, of Tulsa Okla., a member of Olive Hill Masonic Lodge 629, and attended Bowen Chapel Church. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne McCleese, Herman McCleese Jr., Rupert McCleese and Paul McCleese; 
four sisters, Wilma Louder, Millie Delores McCleese, Sarah McCleese and Beulah McCleese. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vera Lynn Phillips McCleese of Olive Hill; two sons, Patrick S. McCleese and Wayne Erik McCleese, 
both of Olive Hill; six brothers, John McCleese of Portsmouth, Ohio, Eugene McCleese of Lucasville, Ohio, Lloyd McCleese of Mount Sterling, Ky., 
Patrick McCleese of Indianapolis, Ind., Marshall McCleese of Huntsville, Ala., and Marcus McCleese of Olive Hill; five sisters, 
Molly Harrison of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Terry of Orlando, Fla., Shirley Minor of Olive Hill, Betty Hall of Grayson, Gladys McCleese of Portsmouth, Ohio; 
and one grandson, Patrick Tabor McCleese of Olive Hill. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Oney Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill officiated by Timmy Garvin. 

Burial will follow in Pitts Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, May 2, 2004, with Masonic services beginning at 7 p.m., 
and anytime before the service on Monday at the funeral home.
