Kentucky GenWeb projectJames Robert Lore October 19, 1979 James Robert Lore, 83. Connersville Nursing Home, died at 3:04 a.m. today in Fayette Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday . He had been in ill health five years. Born July 27, 1896 in Carter Co. KY. son of John and Lora [Staggs] Lore, he was a retired farmer. MR. Lore was a member of Connersville Baptist Temple. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. George [Dixie]Hamilton and Mrs. Jack[Grace Pete]Lane, both of Connersville. Seven sons, Jesse, Lloyd, George, Elwood, Lawrence, and Gary Lore of Connersville and John Lore of New Salem: Three sisters, Mrs. Charles [Tinney] Messer of Grayson, KY. Mrs. Pearl Huddleston of Rushville. and Mrs. Allie Bradley of Olive Hill KY: 18 grandchildren : five great-grandchildren ; and several nieces and nephews. A grandson, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Rev. Don Pennington of Garrison Creek Baptist Church will officiate at funeral services to be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson- Brown -Urban Funeral Home where friends may call after 4:p.m.Sunday. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
