Kentucky GenWeb projectMANSFIELD NEWS-JOURNAL (Mansfield, Ohio) Thursday, February 7, 1957 Luther Leemaster, 52, of 166 Ridge Rd., died Wednesday afternoon at Mansfield General Hospital after becoming ill at work at the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. Wednesday morning. He was born Jan. 1, 1905, at Globe, Ky., coming to Mansfield 13 years ago and working at Mansfield Tire since that time. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Chandler Leemaster, one son Gene, and one daughter, Joan, both at home; one granddaughter; mother, Mrs. Sarah Collingsworth of Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. Randall Miller of Olive Hill, Ky.; and Mrs Milton Rayburn of West Palm Beach Fla. The body was removed to Wappner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev. Elwood Dodge, pastor of the First Nazarene Church. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call starting Thursday evening.
