SPARKS, MARTHA, 84, of Louisville passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
She was born December 29, 1927 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Carlos Lee and Elsie Keown Lee and was a homemaker, having raised three sons.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Marshall Sparks and her three siblings, James, Juanita and Carlos, Jr.
She is survived by her three sons, Daniel R. (Elizabeth) Sparks of Campbellsville, Dennis L. (Terri) Sparks and Darryl (Teri) Sparks;
sister, Virginia Howard; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate Martha's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pearson Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road
followed by entombment in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in the form of contributions be made to Hosparus.
