Kentucky GenWeb projectThe Ashland Daily Independent Wade Lawson 10-23-1980 Wade Lawson 90 of 202 E. Fourth St. died at his residence following an extended illness. Mr Lawson was born March 6,1890 in Carter County, a son of the late William Jason and Nellie Rucker Lawson. He was a retired Greyhound bus driver, a veteran of World War I and a member of Willard Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Irene Jordan Lawson; and one sister Belva Riffe of Webbville; one brother O.J. Lawson of Grayson. Services were conducted at George A. Sparks Funeral Home by Rev. Ronnie Graves. Burial was in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
