Kentucky GenWeb projectDORIS SCOTT 84, of Springfield, died Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at 2:28 a.m. in Mercy Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1916 in Carter County, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Addie (Riffe) Kouns. Survivors include a son, Roger L. (Priscilla) Scott; two grandchildren, Tami Sue (Michael) Miller and Marc Thomas (Cathie) Scott; six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, and Nicole Miller, Marc Thomas, Drew, and Justen Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Wade Scott in 1984; a grandson, Gary Alan Scott in 1974; and many brothers and sisters. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the JACKSON LYTLE & INGLING WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, North Limestone Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. inthe funeral home.
