Ebbie Johnson Burton 1910 - 2003 Ebbie Johnson Burton, 92, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Saturday, May 31, 2003 while in the care of her loving family. She was born November 23, 1910, a daughter of the late Reuben and Cora Waggoner Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of many years Reid Burton and a daughter Wilma Jean Burton Johnson. She was a loving mother and a wonderful example as she had served the Lord for many years, being first a member of Stinson Church of Christ which she and several women held together for many years and of the First Church of Christ in Grayson for the last 34 Years. She is survived by: 2 Sons and 2 daughter-in-laws: Raymond and Clarice Burton and Ronald and Karen Burton both of Grayson; 1 son in law: Clyde Johnson of Grayson, KY; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; Many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the ministers Phil LeMaster and Charles Davis. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
