Henry Robert Jenkins
1932-2004
Henry Robert Jenkins, age 71, of 1622A West U.S. Highway 60, Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Tuesday morning, May 25, 2004,
in University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
Mr. Jenkins was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Boyd County, Ky., and was a son of the late Lawrence Robert and Naomi Alexandria Jenkins.
He was a retired maintenance department employee with the city of Olive Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Jenkins; one grandson, Robert Matthew Jenkins; one brother; and several sisters.
Henry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie London Jenkins; two sons, Michael Jenkins and Gary Jenkins, both of Olive Hill;
five daughters, Debbie Conn, Robin King and Sharon Henderson, all of Olive Hill, Joan Cook of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Donna Hunget of Mesick, Mich.;
19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Fryer of Ashland, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill and officiated by Monroe Craig.
Burial will follow in Jenkins-Dailey Cemetery in Lawton, Ky.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, anytime Thursday and until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
