Shelby Jean “James” Skaggs

Born – 1939

IRON HILL - Shelby Jean “James” Skaggs, 67 of Iron Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 6, at her residence. 

She was born August 23, 1939 a daughter of the late Ray and Oral Sizemore James. She was one of the founding members of 
Old Path Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a devoted housewife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Eugene Skaggs. 

She is survived by two daughters; Linda and husband Troy, Sheila Skaggs all of Grayson; one son Kevin Skaggs of Grayson; 
two sisters and brother in laws Nina and husband Vernon Skaggs and Betty and husband Simon Lewis both of Grayson; 
two grandchildren Amanda Lewis of TX and Angie and husband J.D. Williams of Grayson; two great grandchildren Kaylee Hall and MaKenzie Hall of TX. 
And a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by ministers David Miller and Ron Evans. 
Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
