James Lee Hunter (1944-2007)
James Lee Hunter, 62, of James Island, S.C., passed away Friday, March 2, 2007, in Charleston, S.C.
Mr. Hunter was born Sept. 25, 1944, to Leroy and Hortense Hunter in Grayson, Ky. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a manager
and owner of furniture stores in Flatwoods, Ky., Mansfield, Ohio, and Wilmington, N.C.
Survivors include his former wife, Esther Hunter; three sons, James Austin Hunter and his wife, Lisa, of Versailles, Ohio,
Ryan Pettit Hunter and Travis Wright Hunter of Ashland, Ohio; four grandchildren, James Michael Roy, Duane Austin,
Jenna Marie and Maziee Elizabeth; two brothers, Michael Mullins and his wife, Linda, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Roy Maguire and his wife, Debbie, of Grahn, Ky.;
a niece, Julie; and a nephew, Michael.
Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Christopher.
Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7,
at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary Chapel, 326 Sixth St., Huntington, WV 25701, (304) 525-8121.
Funeral arrangements are provided by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C.
